Meet the Architect:

My Story

Dr. Susan Kang is a physical therapist, exercise physiologist, and lifelong athlete who believes that rehab should be as intentional and goal-driven as training.

Born and raised in Queens, Susan earned her Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Exercise Physiology before completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Her early career spanned exercise stress testing, personal training, and sports medicine — giving her a rare, well-rounded perspective on how the body works, how it breaks down, and how it comes back stronger.

As a former Division II athlete and competitive powerlifter, she knows what it actually takes to perform — physically and mentally. She’s not just treating your injury. She’s treating you as someone who has goals, a sport, a lifestyle, or simply a life you want to get back to.

After years of watching the traditional PT model fail people — overcrowded clinics, 15-minute appointments, cookie-cutter exercises, and no real plan — she founded Blueprint Performance Physical Therapy to do something different.

Here, every session is 1-on-1. Every program is built around you. And the goal isn’t just to get you out of pain — it’s to build a body that’s stronger, more resilient, and more capable than it was before you walked in the door.

Because that’s what good rehab actually looks like.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll find her exploring new places with her husband, walking her two dogs, or on a mission to find the best food in whatever neighborhood she’s in.
